‘From Ocean to Forest, We are all Connected’

This piece is part of a larger series entitled ‘From Ocean to Forest, We are all Connected’. The series of 9 paintings celebrate the beautiful, diverse and fragile ecosystem of the Pacific Northwest. Salmon play an important role in each piece, as they are an integral keystone species and symbolize the link between ocean, forest and human. I created these pieces as a reminder of the interconnection of all living things. Let’s celebrate, honour and protect the wild places and animals that we love, and this place we call home.
