Throughout history, humankind has had a deep connection to birds. Over and over they are featured in art, poetry, song and dance.  I have always been fascinated and inspired by birds and wanted to create a series that honours these winged messengers. This collection of original drawings looks to birds as symbols of freedom, power, transcendence and hope.

As a bird soars high

In the free holding of the wind,

Clear of the certainty of the ground,

Opening the imagination of wind.

Into the grace of emptiness,
