KIDS ART IN THE LIVING ROOM (STUDIO)

Fun, Creative Art classes for kids age 8-12

My name is Sarah Clement and I’m a professional artist, illustrator and workshop teacher. I’ve done workshops for both adults and kids, in person and online and I’m excited to be offering kids art sessions at the Living Room Studio in upper Gibsons.

Each week we’ll dive into a new project, working with a variety of materials, exploring painting, collage, printmaking and drawing. We’re going to get messy and colourful and make some beautiful things along the way. I want to keep the class size small to offer lots of hands on instruction and create a safe, nurturing creative space for all of the kids. These classes are less about honing one particular skill and more about creative exploration and fun.

WHEN: Wednesdays 3:30-4:30/January 15th-March 12th, 2025

WHERE: the Living Room Studio 1006 Venture Way Unit 111 (next to Sandy’s bake shop in Upper Gibsons)

WHO: Max 6 kids, ages 8-12

COST: $250 for 9 sessions

WHO’S IT FOR?

  • max 5-6 kids per class (I want to keep the group small so there’s lots of space to interact, ask questions, focus and have fun)

  • All creative skill levels welcome -- it’s fun and playful for everyone

  • 9x 1 hour in-person classes

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: 

  • Fill out the google form (link below) if you are interested in signing up your child

  • I will be creating one group of 5-6 kids, at this time I can only offer one class so I will also be creating a wait list.

  • I will let you know once the group is created and must receive full payment via e-transfer to confirm your child’s spot
